About the speaker
Mathilde Kamer (MSc) holds a BSc in Political Science, a MSc in Conflict Resolution & Governance and a MSc in Political Communication. For her master’s thesis in Political Communication she studied the long-lasting political effects of the historic moral panic surrounding psychedelics on institutions to this day. During the process of developing her thesis she experienced resistance from within the UvA due to the controversial nature of the topic (psychedelics), the irony of which was not lost on her.
