Unlocking the Mind: Introduction to Psychedelic Science

Curious about the cutting edge of neuroscience, mental health and consciousness research? Join us for the first event in our lecture series “Unlocking the Mind: Introduction to Psychedelic Science,” during which we will explore the rapidly growing field of psychedelic research.

This first session is designed for everyone – whether you’re completely new to the topic or already have some background. We’ll take you through the foundations of psychedelic science, offering a welcoming introduction to a field that’s evolving fast and reshaping how we understand the mind.

Description

This engaging session will provide an introductory overview of the the field. We will discuss the science behind psychedelics, their history in medicine and culture, and their emerging role in treating mental health conditions like depression, PTSD, anxiety disorders, and addiction.

After the overview, we’ll host a special Q&A session with our guest speaker. This will be an opportunity to ask questions not only about the topics covered during the overview, but also to learn more about emerging career paths and possibilities for pursuing psychedelic research and therapy professionally.

Whether you’re studying psychology, biology, medicine, philosophy, or are simply interested in the mysteries of the human mind, this talk will certainly offer valuable insights into the way psychedelics are shaping the future of therapy and consciousness research. Come with curiosity!
