Wavepaths immersive music experience

APRA is collaborating with Wavepaths (https://wavepaths.com/) for an immersive music experience hosted by neuroscientist and Wavepaths CEO Dr. Mendel Kaelen.

Wavepaths is a technology that facilitates live, unique, personalised music experiences for psychedelic therapy and deep listening.

What is Deep Listening?
Wavepaths was founded on the insight that when we do allow ourselves to listen more deeply to music, we are in essence listening more deeply to ourselves, in particular, to those parts of ourselves that we may not always see, acknowledge and accept.

Research shows that the right music, when you listen with focus and intention, supports meaning-making, emotionality, and mental imagery – the same therapeutic processes associated with psychedelic therapy and other experiential therapies

We have designed this guide to help you get the most out of your experience. Open yourself up to the music – Wavepaths research shows that the more you can open yourself up to the inner experience evoked by the music the more likely the session will be personally meaningful

Setting your intentions
Setting intentions prior to your experience can help cultivate the right mindset, or what you hope to gain or learn from the experience. When combined with a carefully prepared listening space, this can increase the likelihood of having a meaningful experience. It can be helpful to write down your thoughts.
